Anonymous for Animal Rights — www.anonymous.org.il

Anonymous for Animal Rights believes that our treatment of other animals should be governed by compassion and by equal respect of their needs and interests. The organization's largest current campaign calls for better treatment of chickens in the Israeli egg industry.

Farmers' Market — www.FarmersMarket.co.il

Farmers' Market organizes farmers' markets in Tel Aviv, Ra’anana, Herzeliya, Rishon LeZion, Netanya and Be’er sheva.

Hazon Yeshaya — www.HazonYeshaya.org/soup.html

Hazon Yeshaya operates soup kitchens throughout the state of Israel and they are open every day of the year, including Passover and Yom Kippur.

Israel Bio-Organic Agriculture Association — www.Organic-Israel.org.il

The IBOAA is the trade group for Israel's organic farmers. The organization provides training and education for farmers. It also lobbies the Israeli government on behalf of organic-farming issues.

Jerusalem Open House — www.JerusalemOpenHouse.com

Jerusalem Open House operates a restaurant that serves free meals to the hungry every day of the year, including Passover and Yom Kippur.

Latet — www.latet.org.il

Latet serves as an umbrella organization to 120 nonprofit organizations (associations, soup kitchens and municipal social-services departments) in 80 communities of all sectors of Israeli society. This collaboration produces efficient, continuous aid to more than 50,000 families and 200,000 needy individuals.

Leket Israel: The National Food Bank — wwe.leket.org.il

Leket Israel distributes surplus food that would otherwise be discarded to people in need. An umbrella organization, Leket Israel transfers more than 60 tons of food per week to 180 soup kitchens, homeless shelters, senior centers and other social-service organizations around Israel.

WWOOF Israel — www.wwoof.org.il

The Israeli branch of the worldwide WWOOF Organization allows volunteers to work on organic farms in exchange for free food and lodging.
